American foreign policy,Osama Bin Laden,Anwar al Awlaki,Muammar Qaddafi,How Obama stold the republicans' strong point.

It is blatantly apparent that the standing of the US around the world has improved under the current administration , and the fact that the republicans fail to acknowledge any success by the administration does not make the successes any less significant . It just makes them look petty and dishonest.While under the previous administration, North Korea was on a path of permanent defiance and rogue behavior , now it is toning down the rhetoric it has stopped the provocative activities toward South Korea and the west, and has started to consider negotiations ,some of which are already under way.The middle east has seen American limited and restrained intervention as being on the side of the oppressed and the people of countries where brutal dictators have governed with iron fist for decades, and no longer trying to impose corrupt puppet regimes .This strengthens America's standing in the region, creating the possibility of influencing the positions of the emerging governments as a part of a coalition of international and multi-regional community of countries , as opposed to be seen as an empire trying to expand,allowing for those governments to maintain their national respectability in front of their national population.America is becoming again a partner and an ally to Europe and the west and not just the distant feudal lord that nobody would honestly engage with.Al Qaeda has been reduced to it's minimum expression , and it's no longer the threat it was , just a few years ago,this accomplishment has to be shared with the previous administration , no matter how we despise George W. Bush we must credit him with being restless in his effort to defeat the terrorist plague, but we must also credit Obama with having the wherewithal to continue the war on Al Qaeda even though this was not a popular position within his base.There is one conflict zone that could spell trouble for president Obama, the country and the world,and that is the iranian situation,which is twofold , a nuclear Iran would pose a threat to the balance of power in the region, and at the same time it would pose an existential threat to israel.Iran has stated in unequivocal terms that it does not recognize Israel's right to exist, and israel in turn has declared that it will not allow Iran to develop nuclear weapons , and will take military action if needed to prevent it.This situation is still evolving and I guess time will tell if this will be resolved in a manor that is of satisfaction to the countries involved and the world or become a terrible tragedy of pain and suffering for millions.

This is no small potatoes, as the elections get closer, this was a point where the republicans could always count on to scare moderate democrats and independents as well as liberal republicans before they went extinct, may god bless their souls.What's funny about this is the fact that they haven't even realized it yet and they continue to talk big on defense and aggressive international policy like when wile e coyote went off the cliff and hadn't realized it yet.They keep repeating how Obama went around the world apologizing for america ,which is not true but reality has never stood in their way before,they keep alive in their dittoheads' imagination the tale of how America is no longer respected in the world, since obama is in office,by respect of course they mean fear although their primitive brain can't tell the difference.And truth be told , the ones that should really be upset even more than they are are the progressive democrats because their president seems to speak very softly but carry a humongous stick .It is true that there is very little room for fair play in the world of politics, however in order to be successful you should have enough common sense not to embarrass yourself by becoming the american politic version of baghdad bob,and that is exactly what the republicans and their mouthpieces have sounded like after every one of these archnemesis of America has been taken out.Except for a few personalities in the republican world , the great majority haven't been able to pull out of their tongues the logical evaluation of the aforementioned occurrences which would be of praise for a job well done at least in those instances,instead they very quickly say yea it's great so and so are dead but...... and then they go on a never ending explanation of how Obama really screwed it up and how greatly they would have accomplished it although they were in power for eight years and two wars later, thousands of american soldiers dead, and trillions spent they had very little to show for it. So like I said in another hub, they better pray the economy keeps declining, because this time around the whole country knows who they want to be answering the phone on that three in the morning call, and it's not any republican ,thats for sure!!!
